...Yeah. I was just going to post a random thread because I know how much they are appreciated...but then I decided to actually post *about* something. *g*
Today in the mail (after brawls with the post office, they thought they lost it, but don't worry I dealt with them quite accordingly) I got my new saber. Which is very very pretty. And I was happy, so I thought I would share with you my geekdom.
It looks something like this (even though the pics suck)
It's a stainless steel 14" blade and sculptured brass cast metal ornamentation on the hilt.
And the scabbard has a lacquer finish with matching ornamention to the hilt.
O_o I'm sad, I know. I collect such things. Purely for display purposes you understand. My Holy Grail is the Shards of Narsil (from LOTR). Will never afford that.
